sunlight spring

spring, one of my favourites seasons and maybe my favourite part of the year... that's because we passed the first part of the year and in spring we are almost in december and celebrating christmas the beeeeeeeeeest part of the year for me and my family... but i'll talk about christmas in other blog maybe hahaha now i will talk about what is spring for me. First of all spring is the time of light, flowers, green trees and areas, pleasant wind, sunshine and a lot of beautiful things. When september arrives, arrives too the celebrations i mean my friends, almost everybody! has their day, happy birthdays everywhere! and that's amazing because i start to write letters and look for the perfect prizes to them. So i start 4th and it never stop! then we celebrate the independence day so we continue celebrating! and that's only the beggining ! the first parte of the season... then everthing calm down and return to be normal... but the days are longer because of the light of the day and the day are not so cold as before so we try to enjoy every each minute ... or at least, me. October is a really quiet month , i try to make more activities than months before so i feel really alive! and happier tan ever! so i try to ask my dad to ride a bike and go to different but natural places to see green views, something that my dad loves and me too of course, also i try to get dress better with pretty colors and clothes with sunglasses and things like that.When i was younger and i was at school i used to go out with my friends averyday after school to take an ice cream or just walk, i remember that always! because at the end of the year we were like huge cows hahaha yeah we used to eat a lot so we became fat hahaha but we were really careful because of our bodies on summer so we started to go to the gym to be thiner or better to go to the beach without problems, yeah, spring is the moment to try to prepare our phisics to go to the beach or just be wonderful to wear wonderful clothes too and try to keep all the male attention of course hahaha. That days were so great! i mean, my girls were the best! and the moments too so i've got a beautiful remember of that school spring days. Talking about this, that's an important point, spring is before summer and summer is MY FAVORITE SEASON until the temperature drive me crazy , but in spring we prepare mind and phisic to be good on summer. I try to eat less but that a false try because i can't having the grandmother that i have and the mother that i have hahaha yeah they are veeeery good cookers so it's impossible tell the NO with one of their delicious dishes. But i have the privilege of be thin and do not get fat so i'm happy with that and i don't regret then. but i hace another privilege and that is that i'm alive, and i've got my whole body to enjoy everything that nature and life itself brings me, like the light in my face and all my senses discovering one new thing time after time (:

Chile's Bicentenary

This year has been really hard to our country because we started with the biggest earthquake that we have ever heard. The thing is that we had to support to all of our people here helping them with a lot of ways, we made a telethon to collect money to some food, clothes, bed-clothes, mattresses, and money to build new houses to the people that need it. But that shock was awful because we lost a lot of material things and also we were really scared before and after the movement. And that event was one of the most important events, months later we had to support to our football team because of the world cup ! we didn’t win but we enjoyed it very much because we won 2 of 3 games and we really dreamed with that cup, that was great ! Another breaking new that shocked to our people was the accident that 33 miners had in a mine, they have been there waiting for rescue during around 1 month… at first we thought that they were died but they weren’t! they survived with stronger and faith and we were so proud about the strength of our compatriots! But all of this is about our hard year and now in September we have to celebrate our country birthday! We usually meet with our families and enjoy meal with salads or different kind of foods too. But eating is not everything to us of course, we try to go to places called “fondas” they are a kind of place where people goes to eat something or drink something and play typical games. But the wrong part of this date is that many people drives crazy with all of that I mean they drink more than they should do it, or drink more and they get fat and everything turnaround in a bad way. On september 18 accidents are a lot and many people die because of the drink. That’s one of the bad things in this month but by the way we try to enjoy it with family and friends and this bicentenary will not the exception!

My winter vacation

Well, they started before everybody hahaha... and i'm not kidding. It was a tuesday when i decided to come back to my home. I was missing my family and friends and i had to wait 3 days to review my final marks... but i couldn't and i came back with no information about my final evaluation!... but i didn't care because i could see it by internet . Nothing of that happened so i saw my marks online and i felt happy about my first term. So i came back on tuesday and i said that i will arrive on friday even saturday! it was an amazing surprise to everybody and i felt so so happy! ^^ was incredible so that day i stayed at home with my family. On wednesday i started to be with my friends because they were on vacation and those days were the last to them so i had to be with them only that days. I was with my two best friends Camila and Karla , but also i was with an important friend, Pablo who was a very important person in high school until today... why? because he was my first guitarist! and the only one ever so i could sing with him a lot of songs and that was amazing because as you know, i love singing and it's one of my favourite things to do in my free time... not only in free time of course... every minute! :) ...and with him the conection is amazing to make me feel comfortable to sing :), by the way that was the first week. The second one was better , i went to Santiago with my dad and my sister to my aunt's apartment to stay there and make different kind of activities. First day we went shopping and we went to "biblioteca nacional" and "cerro Santa Lucia" because i really wanted to go there; next day we went to mercado central and that was amazing i really enjoyed when i was there with part of my family ! ... and then we decided to go to the cinema to see "karate kid" very good movie indeed. But then my dad has to come back to San Fernando because he was missing so much my mom so he traveled to San Fernando... alone, because with my sister decided to stay there hahaha. With that decision we could buy clothes and boots but more important than that was that i was with pablo again! :D hahaha yes with my friend, we could were together there visitting different places and singing and recording what we prepared , was... the best thing i think. But i had to come back :( so i traveled to San Fernando on friday to be with my parents and to have a rest. The next weeks was only friends <3 and family and was really good to be my winter vacation :D i didn't want to come back but well i had to do it because is what i have to do... and now i have to study ...to have my summer vacatioooooooooooon :D

fashion in football world cup

this time i really love it ! the football world cup time! :D the football in my life has been really important in my family but it sounds strange if we talk about a family with 3 women and only one man. It's true ... my mom think that's funny but she really don't care about it, but me and my sister really love the football! we usually go to San Carlos de Apoquindo stadium to see our favorite team play the matches: Universidad Católica. And my dad well... he is a man... so he has te love football like every man around the world haha. So in my home the football world cup it's an important event, in fact we spend all our time watching the matches in my parents' bed together. To us it's not a fashion but to the world obviously it is. The sellers start to offer things like shirts, balls, caps, flags, make up to draw the colors of each country's flag and other things, and we, to be fashion and make everything better like a big carnival. This world cup 2010 has been in South Africa in which there are many races, languages and cultures. So this world cup is good to know about the continent and the cultures of people that leave really far away from here. This year we have been known the characteristics of those persons and their culture of course... something that we know now is a kind of bugle called vuvuzelas . At the begining it was great the sound and it was funny... nowadays is unbearable! the sound is horrible and they don't let us hear the typical noises of a stadium :( ... by the way the world cup is a carnival around the world that join all the people because of the most popular game... football :D

go shopping !

when i was a little kid, i really hated to go shopping... for me it wasn't interesting to go to the centre to choose different kinds of clothes because for me it wasn't really important. I prefered to wear the clothes that my mon used to buy for me ... i hated to try on new clothes! when i had to wear two, three until ten clothes in a shop! aggg no way! but first i had to take off all my clothes and try one by one pieces of dress... no no really disgusting for me ... i prefered a thousand times more to go with my dad to hardware store like homecenter sodimac, easy, etc. That was really interesting for me. But things have changed. Now that i grew up i'm a teenager .. almost an adult! and i like to go shopping to buy new clothes with which i can look better. Everything started with my family of course. I used to go with them to Rancagua the biggest city nearest of mine where it was "mall center" a big shopstore and there we used to pass the whole day reviewing new clothes and buying another kind of things.... i really loved those days and i miss them too. But now we just buy new clothes in my city, san fernando beacuse we don't have enough time to spend a whole day in Rancagua. This summer i had to buy new clothes because i really didn't have because of the school. I had only school-dress so i needed! nowadays i've got a lot of beautiful clothes and i really love to go shopping with my friends my mom and sister... it's really funny (:

eating out

One of my favorite activities is eating out with my family. I usually do it twice a year ... at the end of our holidays and at the begin of the year (: . From the begining, when i was a little girl we used to go to "moneglia" a small restaurante in San Fernando where we used to eat bread with cheese and meet, the famous "barros luco" and other sandwiches. We really enjoyed those moments because with my sister were kids and my parents were youngest so we used to talk and play. With the years, we started to go to better restaurantes like " la carreta " in San Fernando too , and the conversations changed to different topics . Also we started to travel on winter vacation to 4th region , Coquimbo and La Serena and there we visited a lot of restaurantes eating seefood, special courses and big sandwiches of course. Something that i've never eaten is sushi... everybody talks about it and i haven't have the opportunity to taste it but really i wouldn't like to test it, i've got the idea of a row fish and it sounds disgusting! . Something that i always eat is "barros luco" and something called " bistec a lo pobre" and i'm not kidding. I would eat like a lady but i eat sometimes like a pig ! and bistec a lo pobre is something a really love. Consists in a piece of meet with fried onions, potatos and eggs ... with a bread? gosh it's exquisite! here's a picture of me and my family eating in "La Recova" in Coquimbo. greetings! ^^
